ok i think i know what i did wrong...i was suppose to let is sit for a couple of minutes which i didnt do

 

Seafoam is a great additive. I use it in my boat gas to prevent phase separation....fuel that sits for 30 days starts to separate and gel. I use it in my diesel, lawnmower, wifes Denali and the jeep gas too..... never had a code after use.

 

I have used it to before to actually clear a code. I would say run for a while and see if it then clears a code. You might have burned off some stuff and it needs to clear the sensors

 

More than likely you didn't tighten the fuel cap and thats the code....tighten the cap drive 50 miles and the code will clear it's self. :thumb:

 

thats what i was thinking.. but when i went back to my car around 630 to go to the gym the code was clear
