i have a 2010 sport, this issue may have been fixed in later years..... my tailgate doesnt stay open unles im on level ground, which is really inconvenient. has anyone done anything to fix this problem? i was thinking of installing some type of device similar to what keeps a typical cars hood open, just havent looked into it yet..... thanks!

You may want to look into the starfab door kit as well. Easy install if you can use a drill. Definitely worth it in my mind.

I cut a piece of a 2x4 that fits in between the tailgate and the hinge on the tub. It was free and I just pop it in there when I want the tailgate to stay open.
