I have been reading and buying stuff for the last couple months since purchasing my first jeep. I love the thing but never seem to have everything I want for it. I have purchased many things some I like and some not so much. So to save me some time and money... please tell us what you have done or purchased for your jeep that you felt was worth the money or was the best mod so far. Maybe it will save me from making a mistake purchase. Please add pics if you can thanks.

For the beach, my On Board Air system has been the best, by far

For cruising and tunes, gotta love the subwoofer

For looks, have to be the paint job I did in my backyard with a buddy

But, I have lots of work and mods I am happy with.....2 1/2 OME lift, MC2100 carb upgrade with a nutter, new seats.....HOLY CRAP!!! I'm gonna stop before I start adding up how much my baby has cost me.......and she's still not done.

mine is a 06 rhd wrangler.....one of the best, fastest & FREE mods is to take ahold of that rear view mirror & completely flip in upside down......It gets it out of the front view(big dif) & retains the same view out the back....try it, you wont be dissapointed! (be careful & dont break it)!

Two actually

1. Installed winch with 2nd 12V system, 2nd battery, separate alternator (in A/C spot) with external regulator so I can get 120VDC, and solenoids so I can parallel batteries when needed.

2. Class V equalizer hitch. I had to modify it significantly in its mounting to be able to tow my 29' self contained trailer behind the 2.5L/4Cyl/5Spd. With the cam sway control in the equalizer hitch I am able to run the interstate at 70-75 without any difficulty and handles excellent when passing, or meeting 18 wheelers.

Muddog....I am in love with your interior. Can you provide any information on the seats? Where they came from, what you had to do to get them to fit ect...

As for favorite mod...weak for now but definately the new KDC-X995BT headunit. I gotta have my tunes. The rest of the system is next on the chopping block, maybe an amp under the seat.

Ordered from Quadratec. They mount on your stock seat brackets. The rear came ready to install. Not to happy with the center counsol it's a little to wide and tight between the seats.Front and rear seats are Bestop TrailMax II

That's impressive! What does a trailer like that weigh? Any performance mods? What gears are you running?

The new fuel filter was the best one, because without it the damn thing wouldn't start. Next was putting in rear socks. That made for a much smoother ride.

This is a great thread i hope it gets popular. Your interior looks greaaat muddog those seats are the next thing i plan on getting once i get the money. So far Iv mostly done repairs getting everything in working order but i plan on posting back here soon..

@ irongrave... I like the cage additions is that a kit or did you have to make it your self.

So far my favorite mod has been the paint and armor totally tranformed the look of my jeep. That is me looks first then function. Just kidding. I have new suspension coming hopefully it is my new favorite mod.

well i have done so much but so far the one i like the most is hurculining the tub, and painting all the interior brackets. along with some diamond plate.
ask me aagian in two weeks when i get my jeep back and ill probably tell you the ax15 swap and new t case to get rid of the ba10/5.
