Hello - How feasible is it to run 35" tires with no lift on a JK Wrangler? I plan to mount front and rear stubby bumpers and rugged ridge flat fenders....
Oh agreed! I love mine. We get looks where ever we go from headjerkers. It is hilarious.I'm just saying a larger lift in a jku looks sweet, whether it is 4 or 6 inch.
Looks awesome. Same tire/wheel combo I'm going with on my two door. What lift are you planning on running?the latter is my JK on 35s, with no lift. I installed smittybilt flats, a stubby & trimmed the pinch seam. No rubbing for normal street driving, which is where it'll be staying, until the funds for the lift become available. before AFTER! Fresh install today... 35x12.5x15 Goodyear MTR Kevlar + 15x8 Level 8 Trackers Discount Tire Direct really hooked me up. Absolutely recommend them! 2008 Unlimited Rubicon Smittybilt Flats Rampage Stubby Front NO LIFT (yet)
Thank you, I plan on keeping it relatively modest. 2.5" Teraflex Coil Lift, Perhaps a small body lift as well.Looks awesome. Same tire/wheel combo I'm going with on my two door. What lift are you planning on running?
Post pics please!im fixing to see how mine does with no lift.installed the flats the other night.35 s will be here Friday .
few more ....Post pics please!
This is true. I have a 3.5 MetalCloak lift with Nitto 37's and no pinch seam issues.its not required to trim the seams with the 2014s from what i read.
There are your answers. People who Have done it vs. people who have never tried but say its impossible.Seems like I'm getting some mixed feedback - some people are running 35's without any lift without issue. However, some people seem to be saying 35's without lift have practical limits, even for on-road use.
We have too many people on this forum who CLAIM that the only way to do 35s is with a lift.... thats total BS. I just happened to look at a few past JP magazines their article private JK shows that 35s with no lift can definitely be done and it has no problem off roading..There are your answers.
