Abs brake module

Yep, still on back order. I attempted to purchase 68259556AC from the dealership yesterday without any luck. Also tried to order one from one of the Mopar Online parts websites and they just cancelled my order today due to the same cause.

It seems there are a few limited options at this time:
  1. Replace battery if tests low; some have reported this as a fix. Apparently a nearly dead battery plays havoc with the Jeep's electronics.
  2. Clean ABS module connector contacts; some have reported this as a fix when using Deoxit. I tried CRC Electrical Contact Cleaner with no luck.
  3. Send the ABS module out to get repaired (at Module Master, for ex).
  4. Replace the ABS module with a used unit (ebay?).
  5. Wait for Mopar to release the part.
I think I'll be going the Module Master route for a repair/rebuild since my registration is due in June and I have to report for smog inspection this year. Don't think they will pass my Jeep with all the dash lights lit up, especially the CEL.

Got tired of waiting and needed to get this issue fixed so that I can pass inspection for this years registration.

sent my ABS module to Module Master on June 1. Arrived on June 4. They did their magic and I received my module today. Plugged the repaired unit in and C2200 cleared and no issues with the ECU.

Question???? Does y'all abs module work sometimes and sometimes don't? The reason I asked is because mine is starting to work a little more than not. The funny thing about it is I'm having problems with my after market radio module that works the steering wheel controls. I have noticed that when I pull the fuse to the steering wheel control module ( because that the only way to get my radio to come back on ) sometimes my abs module will start working again after I turn off the ignition and start it up. It never goes off while I'm driving it's after I restart.
I think what happens is that one of the failures within the ABS module is a damaged solder joint on the circuit board and what you're describing is an intermittent contact occurring at that solder joint. I've never taken one apart but that's my hypothesis from what I've seen of these modules from pictures and videos out there.

I tried to pull my module last weekend to clean and stopped midway because I didn’t think I was going to be able to get to the lower right-hand side torx screw without damaging the break lines. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos, and they seem to move it around pretty well, but it made me nervous. Didn’t want to cause any damage. Any tips on how to move it out, or maybe just do it slowly and carefully?
There's enough flex in the hard lines attached to the ABS manifold. Just do it slow and carefully.
This video is a fairly good example of how much the manifold will move with the hardlines attached. I rested my manifold on the body bracket that holds the fastener on the side of the manifold to help keep the assembly in place while working on the torx screws.

so I should have waited to write my comment about Module Masters. When I received the module and installed it, I was still getting the same errors. So Module Master refunded my money. So I'm back to square one.
What errors are you getting? Have you pulled the ABS codes?
The only posts I see for your issue is about wheel speed sensors and continuity so I'm not certain that the ABS module was your specific culprit. At least MM provided a refund for not resolving the issue.
