We are wrapping up our tooling build for our tube door/half door project. We are so excited to soon offer this incredible design idea. We will be offering tube doors with a removable and paintable skin. Here our a few cad shots and will post our prototype pics shortly. Please follow up with some feedback.

Thanks

Adam

Looks like a good design. I also like the idea of the tube doors without the skins or even offering the tube doors with expanded metal sheeting.

My Ace shopping cart keeps getting bigger. I'm already planning on a ride out there to pick everything up and avoid shipping. Any ETA on these doors?

I like it. keep them as cheap as possible, just something to keep arms and legs in the jeep! I love the no frills no options type doors, especially since I would only use them for the summer! (to help keep the dogs in!)

I like it. I've been thinking of making my own tube doors with removable panels and some nets on the inside for maps and whatnot.

I think it would be cool to have flat TJ style door handles with latch and notch the panel to slide up to or behind the edge of the handle. And a mirror mount of course.

I want some tube doors and I haven't found any that I like. I haven't found any that flow nice with the contours of the JKU body. I like these. What kind of door handles will you use and will there be an option to mount factory style door mirrors?

I will definitely be in the market for some half doors for my JKU. I'm one of those that Does want the solid outside for the door, and I agree with the poster above that I would want to mount a mirror on them. (yay safety!)

just providing some feedback...

I would love to find an inexpensive tube doors. My daughter hates completely doorless. Most that I have seen, seem way to high for simple bent tubes. I am sure you can do it since your side rails are the best price too. Can't wait to see the final product. Hope it is ready for Summer. Make sure to keep us updated.

I've been thinking about getting some tube doors too, but all the top brands are upwards of $300. If these remain in a decent price point, less than 3 bills then they will be a viable option. I like everything Ace does.

I like the idea of removable paintable skins as wife hates just tube doors while the 3 kids in the back. I like door handle on the inside for a clean line and latch has to have a lock somehow so kids don't accidentally open it. Below $500 for a 4 door would be great.
