Yes, I know its not one of the popular name brands and I could have easily spent 100s of dollars more to be part of the cool club but after lots of looking I decided WTH and went for it. I found this winch bumper of Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XWRGHJW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I kept thinking to myself, for $200, it is either a great buy or a total POS. The metal specs were similar to comparative "name brands", it had the welded winch mount, came with lights and the reviews were fairly decent so I was cautiously optimistic.

The bumper came shipped with several layers of protection. Not a single scratch anywhere. It feels very sturdy. The welds look good and the coating seems pretty durable. Installation was very straight forward. No issues there. The lights all worked and most of all, I think it looks really good and i have some money left for a winch. :)

Thanks for sharing. I have been scouring the net and local shops looking/learning and I agree when you said the materials used and based on pictures they are built pretty comparable to bigger names. I figure if I can get one of these for 3-400 less than a name brand but get comparable service out of it then its a no brainer.

And ANYTHING has got to be better than these wretched plastic bumpers they come with.

I know this is an old post, how has this bumper worked out for you over the last 6 years?
