So, I recently upgraded to JL Rubicon take-offs on my 2014 Sahara Unlimited. Certainly threw off the shifting (automatic) and I'd like to get a procal to try and get the shift points back to stock.

I find knock-off sites selling them from China, but am not thinking that should be trusted. All the big sites have them listed for $170. Anyone know of any discount codes or if these ever go on sale for less? Just trying to save a few $$ if I can. If they never go on sale, I'd appreciate someone letting me know and I'll stop waiting around hoping.

Thanks!

Save your money and get OBD Jscan.

AEV does not allow discounts. If you see one discounted it is likely a fake or used. If it is used, it may still be locked to the original vehicle.
I like the ProCal. But nowadays people are starting to use phone apps that do the same basic thing. I prefer how easy ProCal is to use, but the phone apps are cheaper. You need a widget to connect to your OB2 port, either WiFi or Blue Tooth. But those are readily available.
But I still stick to the ProCal.

I don't think I have ever seen them on sale.

Agree with others. Get ob jscan. It's cheaper and does more.

AEV prices are what they are. They don't go on sale. However, check eBay. I find things from time to time where someone is selling something without knowing the retail value. I've picked up a rear dif cover and rear skid for about 50% off. There are a few used Procals on their currently. Buy one from a private party and ask them to escrow the money until you receive it and confirm it is unlocked.
