ok I have seen those that involves full front end conversion( hood, fenders and grill). Nothing simple? like just replacing the front end only (any after market grills)?

there is no kit because they would sell about 1 and your the only buyer!!

What's next? Convert the dash to a TJ, hell extend the tub and make it a 4 door while your at it!!!!

In response to to OP's original question (as I'm doing the same thing), it can be done. The Front fenders from a CJ bolt onto the tub. The hood hinges also line up. Things get hinky when you get to the grill. If you are equipped with power steering, the power steering lines hit the bottom driverside of the grill assembly and you need to notch it. Also your YJ's radiator is wider than the CJ grill. It can be made to fit with some hacking. Alternatively, you could just slap in a CJ Radiator, which is the route I'm going.

what's the point? I don't get it, we are the only ones with square headlights so why not just buy a cj/Tj/jk/jl/lj?? I just don't understand why.

I wanted round headlights when I was searching for my Jeep, but they were all out of my price range. CJs were too old and classic to be in my budget, or to beat up if they were in my budget. TJs were too new and way out of my budget. YJs were old enough to be cheap, but new enough to be in good to great condition. So I ended up with a YJ even though the majority of what I looked at was CJs and TJs. I had looked at one YJ before seeing mine and buying it. It worked out well, and my headlights grew on me, saving me some money in the end!

very valid point! But your also not going through all the bs to turn your YJ into something it's not!
