Looking for solid recommendation on aftermarket backup camera (JK - Rubicon) to plug and play with factory display/radio. so many different reviews on the seller sites. Also, have there been any issues with programming the jeep with the seller's provided module. thanks in advance.

I installed this one last week on my 13 Rubicon with the Nav head unit and am happy with the results: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0882S8L3L

Plugs right into the back of the radio and comes with all parts needed.

Nighttime quality is a bit grainy.

Bought JSCAN and a bluetooth adapter separately to enable the camera.

I used a "Brandmotion" kit.
Nice kit, great camera.

Kit fit on no problem. I did pick up a camera extension cable as it was too tight for my liking from the mount to the harness inside.
I used Jscan to activate

I use the rear dashcam as a live backup camera with iPad.

Yes, I still like it. It sure makes lane changes easier. Install isn't any more difficult than a normal backup camera. You still need to tap into the reverse lights, I have a 7-way trailer plug-in, so I tapped into the reverse on it instead of the light harness. Find always on power for the camera and recorders and tap into it. I tapped into my AUX fuse box that I installed for other items. Also tap into a keyed power so the mirror will go off when the key is off. This way the cameras will record if the vehicle moved and the inertia switch is set off. The only major thing is removing the mirror and running the wiring up the passenger side A pillar. Instructions were easy to follow. I would still recommend it to others that want more than a back up camera. Just do a search on YouTube if you want more info.
