Has anyone used these? The wife likes the look of them i was wondering if the are hot in the summer, how they wear and any other ideas people have on them.

They fit perfectly on my TJ. However, due to the sagging bolsters and padding on the seat of my TJ, the bottom half has shifted and looks likes an old couch cushion. The material they’re made of is rather nice but it’s not very thick. The quality, I believe, is in their fit and stitching. The thickness or toughness of the fabric, I question. Within a month of owning mine, one of my passengers (a child) put a perforation on the back half of one the covers. It was caused by a grommet on his jeans and of course, his restlessness. Unfortunately, things happen.

In retro, I should have just reupholstered my seats. 300 bucks is no joke. I’d have been much happier with new padding AND oem covers, especially since the Bartact covers are just that- covers.

There's not a broken seat out there that can make a seat cover look good. You needed to start with good seats first. A seat cover can never take the place of a good seat. Why would they need to be thick to be good? And to be honest, I just can't see a grommet from a pair of jeans going through the fabric unless it had a very sharp edge on it. These covers are tough!

Hope you don't mind if I chime in since I have a JK but I have used these for years. IMO there is no better seat covers available, these are great. I bought my first set and they lasted over 4 years and were still doing great except for fading and wear on the driver's seat side seam where I slide in and out of the seat. They would still be on there but I got another set for Christmas 2016.
It is my understanding that the regular colors don't fade as much but I like the military colors (coyote and olive drab) and they don't have the same UV protection. If you want more color choices you can go the Bartact home page. If you order from Bartact, they are the same price but it may take longer to arrive.

Look for the Bartact thread there's a ton of info there.

In my case:
The fronts fit and look like stock, I don't find them any hotter or colder than stock covers, but they're waterproof and dog hair comes out of them easier. I put seat heaters from Amazon under the Bartact and they work great.

The rears (JKU so doesn't apply to you) have a couple of wrinkles that I never could get out correctly so they don't look as good as the front in a couple of small areas.

As mentioned the drivers seat has a LITTLE bit of wear where I slide in and out probably nothing most people would notice. I have black with olive in the center. The olive has a couple of light stains that haven't come out with damp cleaning but would probably come out if I pulled them and ran them through the washing machine. I don't really care enough to be that anal about them though.

I'm on my second set! I sold the first set after a few years just so I could change colors.
In my opinion, they are the best out there!

As far as quality of fit and material, the Bartacts have no equal. A snug fit makes for good looks, and the PALS system pouches are handy as well. Not coincidentally, they're made in America, by Americans. I've been very pleased with mine.
I wear Wranglers, which have rivets, and never worry about snagging. I suspect some contraband was responsible for the damage mentioned earlier by a poster.
