^^ pretty high quality and performance, non-OEM look...I like them, but will probably go for more of an OEM look.
There are several others on the market with varying appearance and performance to choose from, some which should last, others which might not. Some of the JWS knock-offs have an issue with the brightness levels between brake light and park light being minimal- it will look like your brake lights are on with the tail lights illuminated and won't get much brighter when brakes are actually applied, so caveat emptor when purchasing knock-offs.
Awesome! Thanks! I am definitely not wanting anything that is going to have issues with brightness, bulbs going out, or with other electrical issues. I looked at the Quadratec before but i am wanting to go for more of a blacked-out look and they didn't really offer any that were the style i was looking for (yes, i know... I'm being picky)
I have these and love them. they are full LED but the enclosure looks exactly like stock. Bright as all hell at night. You do have to wire in a resistor to prevent hyper flash before you install, but it's a sub five-minute job per light.
Has anyone just changed their bulbs to LED and had a paint shop spray the lenses to smoke them? Ive seen it done in car shows on Velocity, just wonder if its cost worthy instead of changing all of them out.
JK Speakers are good and bad. Would not buy them again. The brake and running lights are good. The reverse lights are useless. About as good as squishing a lightning bug on either side of your rig. I wired up 6-LED pods as aux back up lights so I can see behind me. Don't spend extra on the name brand this time.
I have these with zero issues. Fully plug-and-play.
