Hello,
I came across this image of a cargo tray in a Jeep Liberty. Here's the link: Cargo Area Liner - Jeep Liberty - Item # 82210677AB #82210677AB. I would love to have a similar tray for a JKU but haven't found one that covers the back of the 2nd row seats when folded down. I have seen canvas covers and such. But I'd really like a nice full size slush mat/tray. Is anyone aware of such a product? Thank you!

What MY is your JKU? Do you have the subwoofer?

Have you measured to see if the tray for the Liberty fits 'close enough' for your needs into the JKU? (I have no idea what size a Liberty is - I've never seen one, yet.)

Just a thought; I haven't seen a JKU specific cargo tray like you are wanting - and I have searched for two years. Maybe someone else here has?

Hi Jeep Guy,
I just received my 2015 JKU Hard Rock, with the in floor subwoofer. From reading other threads, it seems like subwoofer performance doesn't degrade by covering it with a cargo tray. And if it did substantially affect performance, I would cut a hole in the cargo tray for the subwoofer. I saw in another thread that the all-weather subwoofer is just that; there is a video showing the subwoofer pumping not only base tones, but water several inches into the air after the owner flooded his subwoofer with "Muddy Waters." ;)

Good point on measuring the Liberty. Maybe I'll ask the Jeep sales rep to measure one for me. My daily work is real estate; rarely do I actually drive clients around in my car-they usually drive themselves these days. So the space in back is generally used for wet and muddy open house signs (I live in rainy Seattle) or skis and hiking gear (gotta love the mountains); hence the reason I'm looking for a tray that extends to cover the folded second seats. Maybe this would be a fun, albeit expensive, custom project for a local plastics or rubber manufacturer. I just scratch my head wondering why Mopar, WeatherTeck, or any of the other companies haven't offered something like this.

Thank you!

I saw that Liberty one too (Dimensions per one for sale on Amazon: 49" x 32").
I've read where the unlimited dimensions are: 66" from the inside wall of the tailgate to the rear of the front drivers seat (seat fully to the rear); 43" cargo area width between rear fenders. So the Jeep Liberty would be much smaller.

The only other thing I found is a rubber mat by Lloyd Mats, but it looks paper thin. I can't believe no one has made one yet for the JK since so many people have asked in the past.

Just for Jeeps cargo liner for a '08-'12 KK Liberty is 57" x 40.5". That seems pretty much of a good fit for a JKU.

I use horse stall mat from Tractor Supply. They sell by the foot and it is about 10-12" wider than the bottom of the entire JKU, but thats a good thing. It allows water, sand, gravel to remain in the center and not spill over and under the mat. Pull it out from the back and dump the contents. I use it for my dogs so they have a gripped surface and is keeps dog hair out of the carpet. Costs me about $40 for 5' and I trim it to size and shape all the way to the back of the front seats and cut out where the headrests are so it slides all the way to the center console.
