I'm thinking of picking up a 2 Gallon RotopaX gas container. I know people regularly strap them to the outside of their rigs.. But I'm wondering if they're OK to carry inside, (in the back near the hatch).
I've never had a chance to examine one up close. I see they're made of plastic. Are they sturdier than the common polyethylene gas containers you use for things like filling your lawnmower? I'm wondering if they seal enough so that I won't smell gas fumes when I'm driving.
Anyone carried a RotopaX in the cab??
