I just did mine and I changed the throw out bearing, pilot bearing, pressure plate, clutch disc, and had the fly wheel resurfaced also put anitseize on all bolts and input shaft. Also changed the tranny fluid. But that's just me, I'm sure people have other opinions.

Antisieze? I thought locktite was called for bolting the clutch housing to the flywheel?

The basic clutch kit is all you will need if there's no damage to the flywheel. If te flywheel is damaged you need to replace it though, not have it resurfaced. The flywheel has a dome shape to it that resurfacing it will take away.
I'm replacing mine with a LUK Kit but I'm not sure on which kit to get either the 05-065 or 05-901??? Any suggestions?

Get the 05-065. There is no benefit for the extra cost of the Gold. Don't know where you're shopping, but I've bought several from partsgeek.com with good success and pretty fast shipping. clutch kit | Partsgeek.com As mentioned above, do not have your flywheel machined. If you don't have clutch shudder now and the flywheel isn't heat checked or warped, just clean it up with some fine emery cloth or sand paper.

One other thing that would be good to get from your local Jeep dealer (I think Morris 4x4 carries them as well) is a clutch return spring. Many times they break when taking them off or are missing completely. <$5 at the dealer. Here's a picture...

Thanks for the response, would you suggest clutch fork or slave cylinder as well??

Yeah have fun with thoes 2 E12 bolts... stupid.... also if you remove the flywheel.. don't let it kill you. They are like 678,890.6 lbs. Exactly. And don't let the pressure plate containing the clutch fall after unbolting it... That makes for a very nasty mess... also if your doing it on the ground. Better get a floor trans jack. Leave t-case on. But mount jack almost under t case. NOT in the center. T-case end is MUCH heavier. Srry to be Mr negative nancy. When I did mine everything that coulda sucked... did. And also my return spring was broken.... couldn't tell by driving it.. worst part was jacking the entire jeep up high enough and safely to do this..
