Thanks, so far I've emailed the dealer, a few upholstery shops etc. Only one has replied so far, there price was 300 which is good but the shop over a hour away.Installation is a service and you'll get prices all over the place and it varies from place to place, state to state. Just call around and get quotes.
$100 is an extremely good deal, but I can honestly say since I did my own install, I wouldn't do it for $100. I removed the front seats since it made them easier to work on and the install and removal of the existing covers, probably took me a good 6 hours over the course of 2 days working on it in the evenings.Well i got three prices today, one shop said 300, another said 500 and a guy on craigslist said 100

I suppose if you do it regularly and have some experience, you could probably do it in half that time. The hardest part are with the headrest covers. So it might be worth asking the private installer some further details about doing the headrests, to see if they have the machine and/or experience. I took mine into an upholstery shop and had them do the headrest cover installs. I paid the shop like $75 to do all 4 headrests. The reason is that for the headrest cover, you really need a special machine that essentially wraps a plastic bag around the headrest with a vacuum attached, where the vacuum sucks the air out of the bag which then compresses the headrest cushion material so the cover can slide over it.
$500 seems to be the going rate for dealership installs when I looked into it in the past. $300 seems about right for a good upholstery shop.
Might be worth it then. A retired guy, probably has all the tools, lots of experience, does it as a part-time hobby out of his pole barn or something like that. Might even do a better job than the shops since he has a lot of spare time on his hands.Yeah i thought 100 was very cheap also. I found the guy on craigslist and hes in my same town, has a website etc and is a older retired guy that does upholstery.

^^ Did you go with the retired upholstery guy? Looks terrific.
Did you also get your leather console cover from Katzkin?
