Hey fellas, just wondering if there is any good discounts besides XT for being a forum member? I PM’d Jake from XT but he hasn’t gotten back to me yet, think it’s something along the lines of 6-7%. Any more discounts out there for us members? Thanks!

Check the vendor section of the forum. Also most will provide a quote on parts and you can make your choice among multiple vendors.

I don't think Xtreme Terrain has offered a forum discount code in a couple years.

Quadratec has always been a solid company to buy from. Offer a fair price and quick shipping in my experience.

Northridge 4x4 has been good as well. They tend to have sales. If you get on their newsletter you will see.

It's been a while, like six months or so, since I bought anything from XT but I purchased a fair amount from them during the 10 months before that and was always able to get a discount by going through Jake. Minimum of 6% but higher on big ticket items.

In my experience, Jake was almost always slower to respond than Rick with Quadratec.

Now that 4 Wheel Parts has a brick and mortar store near me, I'm pretty much exclusive with them. There are certain advantages to having face to face contact plus they match internet pricing and can install the stuff that's above my skill/tool set. And it's nice to support a local business.

Call Extreme Terrain and if you meet their requirements (i think it is like 25 posts on the forum, and yes they do check) they will give you the 6% discount in a quote via an immediate email or you can purchase right then on the phone with them. My wife did it to purchase a Garvin Adventure Rack for me a couple weeks ago. Krawl was great to work with as well. Same type of experience calling Quadratec. I am a "want it now" kind of person so if i find what i want a lot of times i am not willing to wait a week for a 5% +\- discount when i can just call them right away and talk to them. That is a small discount when it comes to discounts so most places will give you that anyway.

I use several vendors. Usually it's Amazon, 4 Wheel Parts and Quadratec.

I have a local 4 Wheel Parts and our club gets a discount from them. Quadratec sometimes beats them, sometimes not. I have bought things from Quadratec with forum discounts many times. Sometimes I wait for Rick, sometimes I just call on.

I like my local 4 Wheel Parts as I can talk to someone, usually touch and feel the stuff and the shop guys are willing to give me advice and even loan speciality tools. The club discount is between 6% and 15% depending on the items.

What they have over Quadratec is the ability to customize. When I went shopping to rebuild my JK after my flop, I asked for quotes from Quadratec, Extreme Terrain, East Coast Gear Supply and my local 4WP. Extreme Terrain couldn't be bothered to respond, Quadratec couldn't do a customized axle, would not quote a roll cage but was competitive on many repair parts except the half doors. Factory Mopar Parts had half doors and uppers priced with shipping at a killer price, 4WP quoted the cage at a 20% discount, quoted me a custom axle to my specs built and delivered in 2 weeks for less than East Coast for a lesser axle with a 60-90 day delivery.

So, here, Extreme Terrain lost a $8K sale, Quadratec got the repair parts, Factory Mopar Parts got the half doors and 4 Wheel Parts got the cage and the axle plus the steering parts I needed after to finish the install.
