I have been wondering about this too. But I have an idea to use what I used for ski poles this past winter. I have some heavy duty tie wraps (about 3/16" diameter x 24" long purchased on Amazon) wrapped around front and rear rollbar cross members. Twisted on bottom of roll bar then bent into a hook shape with the tag ends. Worked awesome for ski poles. Might just work for fishing rods as well?

 

or break it down and zip-tie across top rear rollbar. That what I do.
