Fuel Line Leak (2008 Jeep Wrangler)

I needed to repair/replace this part in my 2008 Wrangler Unlimited Savanna. Fuel was dripping onto the engine from the straight quick connect end. The elbow end and the nylon tube seemed to be fine.
At first, I attempted to replace the o-rings inside of the fitting. I could not get the first black spacer out with the pic tools that I had.

I ended up replacing the fuel line with a Dorman 800-060 which comes with a new 5/16 nylon fuel line already attached to an elbow quick connection. I then cut the kit's nylon fuel line to size and attached a Dorman 800-080 quick connect to replicate the straight end. There are youtube videos about attaching ends to nylon fuel lines that helped. The newly created part simply snapped into place and there has not been any leak for this past week.

All-in maybe $30 bucks and a bunch of frustration time to research and find an original replacement. I am sure that everyone above my post felt.

Thanks for these posts! -and I hope mine helps someone in the future.
