Driving home from work the other day, I noticed a strong smell of gasoline, pulled over to find that the fuel line at the top of the engine had developed a leak. Thankfully I caught it before things turned bad to worse. Now I am attempting to locate the correct part, which has been a complete hassle.
I have identified the part number that I need is 52126096AC (part # 2 in diagram), which is out of stock everywhere I look and call. It seems as though the entire fuel rail assembly has been replaced with 52059774AE, which seems like a lot more work to fix the issue - replacing the whole fuel rail assembly.
Does anyone have an suggestions or experience with a leak like this? Would love to find the line to just replace the damaged section, not the entire assembly.
