I'm an old guy and this is the only time I put my cap on backwards. I also roll with my driver's window down and the rear passenger window down. Seems to be less turbulence that way

 

I have long hair, so a pony tail works. Unless it's a fitted cap that is.

 

Get a piece of string or wire and 2 alligator clips. Clip the back of the hat and the back of your collar on your shirt if wearing the hat. If not wearing then stuff in console or glove box

If I have a ball cap with me and I'm not wearing it I just slide it over the shift lever, or snap it around the grab bar. Haven't lost one yet!

 

I stuff my baseball hat between the driver's seat and the center console while I'm driving topless.

I only put it on when I get to where I'm going. This method doesn't prevent Jeep hair, but it covers it up so I don't look too wild when I hop out

 

Just tuck the hat under the driver seat. Don't even need to shove it in, just get the bill under there. I've done that with top off and doors off and didn't move once

 

I like wearing the cap forward with the top off to keep the sun out of the eyes... so I just wear it and tie it down. The clip goes onto my collar.

 

With the top off I run with a shade so I don't really require eye shade, but sometimes I like to cover the bald head so I wear a boonie hat with a cord. I look goofy but it give really good coverage from the sun and the cord keeps it securely in place. Other times, I just put on a non adjustable ball cap, and turn it backwards if necessary.

 

I bought a set of collar clips. Kind of like the one above. Amazon, think I paid $5 for two.

 

I’ll make sure the ball cap fits snug and then pull it down tight. I’ve lost 1hat already so the cord and alligator clip is the best way. If driving and not wearing it then just tuck it under the drivers seat or snap it around the passenger “oh shi$ handle over the glove box.

 

If its a fitted hat I usually tuck it under my emergency brake lever, if it's an adjustable I usually put it on the shifter. You can also attach them to the headrest post.

Wearing a hat with the tops and doors off is impossible, unless its bolted to your skull.

My beanie flew off my head yesterday, had to make several uturns to find it.
I was thinking of using a Bobby pin to secure it to my head haha.
