I took the plunge for all our fellow Jeepers. For reference, I have had stock, KC and recently the Cibie with Osram bulbs. The latter were the best and I have been running them for 1.5 years. I wanted to get Qtec lights for a long time but for $150 I could not resist trying these lights. Especially since I knew I could easily return them with the eBay guarantee.
But these lights are what I have been hoping to achieve since I bought the JK in 2012. The quality was obvious from the minute I unrapped the package. As you can see from the photos the lights came professionally packed, well documented and with the proper harness if you don't have it yet.
They are gorgeous (OK that is subjective) and such a solid quality build. Really nice weight to them. The first time I turned them on the angels sang lol.
Pictures don't illustrate it well but they are awesome. Time will tell but if they hold up then I can't imagine there are much better lights out there especially for the money. I am an expert at changing bulbs and housings now so it took less than 30 minutes total.
If only my Grand Cherokee was DYI. Can't believe I have to have the dealer swap my housings.
