Do you have a nickname for your Jeep and did any of your friends nickname you for your Jeep?
My Jeep's nickname is "Big Black" and a few of my friends who don't drive Jeeps call me TJ since my Jeep is a 99 TJ even though my real name is Cole.

My girlfriend doesn't like climbing up in my Jeep and thinks it looks hillbilly (as she would say), so she calls it Jeb. I didn't like it to begin with but now I think it's a name and it adds some character to what some might call just a machine or automobile. Term of endearment, I suppose.

being on the gulf coast about 25 minutes from galveston...I came up with HURRICANE. I have it in Rubicon font in flat black on my hood. Next is going to be custom...all black plates...CTGRY 5. Category 5. For you inland guys that is a designation of the severity of a hurricane..5 being the most powerful.

I was trying to come up with a name for mine while still learning "his" personality. I had ideas like Hidalgo (loved the horse in that movie) and Hobbes (Calvin & Hobbes, the tiger always got Calvin into mischief) when a friend of mine said "Kate, you should name your Jeep "Ajax" ! I told him I thought it was a stupid name and ask where the hell he came up with THAT! He replied; "Ajax was a great warrior and besides... Ajax is stronger than dirt!!" (from an old Ajax cleanser commercial)

Eveny now and then he'll pop off with "Say it Kate... you know you want to!" it makes me laugh every time.

Still have not figured out a name for mine. I thought about naming it Gibbs after the character in NCIS because I shifted a little rough one time and my sister hit her head on the head rest while doing something stupid... but the name has not stuck.

I named mine "J-Wow" from the bimbo on jersey shore. I HATE the show with a passion but my girlfriend loves it so I did it to antagonize her. It worked. The name kinda stuck because of the J in Jeep lol.

My YJ is named "Junior". My daughter named it after our old CJ5 whose name was "Jasper". I was taking her to school one morning and said we needed to come up with a name for the YJ. She said we should call him "Junior", as in "Jasper Junior". I thought that was pretty cool and it stuck. FYI: Jasper is my avatar pic. I sure do miss that Jeep!
