Hey gang, if this doesn't belong in tech, please move.
I've been searching the COUNTRY for a factory wiring kit for my 2016 75th Sahara 2D. Apparently Mopar discontinued it in february of this year; lucky me...
ONE dealership in TN has one, but it's spoken for. I left my name and phone with an "I don't care about price or shipping I'll buy it" with the parts department gentleman, but I'm not too hopeful...
Anyone have any ideas outside of general parts searching and eBay?
Now, I can order and essentially build this kit with the stalk (7), dual feed washer (1), tubing kit (4), and I don't need the controls (6) because I have heated mirrors already. The big problem is the wiring harness and tubing assembly (what Mopar calls the overlay) because it's not available out of kit. One parts manager suggested maybe contacting Painless Performance (?) to have them build me a harness, but I think if we're getting that far into the weeds I'd take the time to build my own with the factory plugs and make it look as stock as possible. Another thought was ripping it out of a junkyard but there are very few "pull your own" places still in existence near me and it's unlikely they have any JKs.
Any thoughts or tips would be awesome from this community.
