To install Jeep oil pressure and coolant temperature sensors on an LS swap, the coolant temperature sensor thread size is 3/8"x18 NPT and the oil pressure sensor thread size is 1/8"x27 NPT. One option is to use an adapter on the head for the temperature sensor and an adapter for the oil pressure sensor, eliminating the need to drill or tap new locations. Specifically, an adapter with a 3/8 female end can be used for the temp sensor, and a specific adapter can be used for the oil pressure sensor. Another option is to drill and tap the block off plate on the driver's side of the engine block (if the donor engine didn't have an oil cooler) to accept the Jeep oil pressure sensor.

Except the stock gauges read digital input from Jeep pcm on the ccd twisted pair bus 97-2000 and pci single wire bus 2001-2006
So to use factory gauges you have to retain the TJ PCM
But with pcm not controlling engine the rpm gauge will not function
