Need some advise,
I bout a zone lift from Mid Atlantic 4x4 in Glen Burnie back in September. They have done other work for me in the past and I was generally pleased (although naive). However after only about 1000 miles I began to have a lot of death wobble, I took my Jeep to Adams Jeep (they were recommended) and they basically told that the installation was horrible, and the angles are all off (it’s so bad that it blew out the steering stabilizer that was installed with the lift). The tech said that the they had welded my rear trac bar instead of bolting it, the problem is that instead of welding it properly it looks like they just tacked it in two spots and its currently about to snap off. Adams also said that the bushings are shot, after only 1000 miles! I have called Mid-Atlantic and left messages, but have yet to hear back from them. I have two questions I need some help with: Has anyone had work done from Mid-Atlantic that was problematic, and what did they do about it (did they stand behind their work and fix it or just make excuses)? And also, after Mid-Atlantic fixes the bushings, trac bar etc. (assuming they will) should I take it back to Adams to have it set up properly? They are quoting me $300-400 to "set it up properly" -Thanks for the advice!
