Does anyone happen to have experience with mounting a tow hitch on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler 75th Anniversary edition?

I'm trying to install a tow hitch on my Jeep. I ordered Quadratec Part Number 12015-1020 (Quadratec 12015 1020 Premium 2" Hitch with Wiring Kit & Quadratec Logo Plug for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK) which comes with the hitch, cover, and wiring harness. The instructions suggest it is a simple bolt on installation, but it appears my jeep rear bumper is bolted to the cross member where the hitch is supposed to go. Is there a work around? Do I need a different part? Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions. A photo of my cross member is below.

For the Jeep Wrangler there are a couple of different hitches. One has nuts welded to it, and once does not. For the 75th anniversary rear bumper you want the one without the nuts welded to it as the bumper itself is threaded for the bolts to go into it. I had the Hard Rock bumper on mine at one time, which is the same as the 75th bumper just not bronze.

You back those bolts out, and currently there is a spacer between the bumper and the frame behind it. That comes out and the hitch slides up there and the bolts go through one side of the hitch mount, through the bumper, through the other side of the hitch plate (which replaces that spacer) and into the bumper itself where it is threaded.

This is the hitch you should have - Quadratec 12015 1001 Premium 2" Receiver Hitch for 13-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 10th Anniversary Rubicon, Rubicon X, Hardrock & 75th Anniversary Editions

Thank you. This was extremely helpful and makes sense now that I look at the way the bumper is.
