I am hoping to put a roof rack on my 2d 2016 JK and I must admit there aren't many options out there. It boiled down to the two and I am hoping to find what are the pros and cons of each! Thanks

I have the rhinorack. I have had it since 2019 and I have gotten zero issues. I'm using the quick disconnect so I can remove it quick ans hang it from my garage ceiling. Although, I normally keep it installed year round. The removal of the hardtop stays simple too. Just if you have a hoist or something in your garage capable of handling the extra 70 lbs of the rack you should be able to remove the whole thing in one shot.

Plenty of accessories too. Also the dynamic load is 220lbs which is enough for most stuff.

If you decide to use The regular legs instead the quick disconnect the tray will sit closer to hard top

Pretty easy to install too, and no leaks

I want a rhino rack so badly. It’s on my very long list of Jeep mods I want haha.

another great option is the adventure rack systems. Supposedly they are the heaviest duty roof racks if you need a ton of weight on the roof.

Cant give you proper pros and cons unless we know what your intentions with the roof rack are. Roof top tent? Just bins for camping equipment or luggage? Bringing lumber home?
Also i assume that since you are looking at a rhino rack you have a hard top? Do you ever switch to a soft top? Do you need a rack while using soft top?
Looks like you would be limited to racks available in Australia?

The new updated version of the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform has internal and external channels for wiring if you so choose to go that route.
