Radiator Fan Problems!!!

Hello, I am completely out of options although I'm realizing I probably should have come here in the first place. I own a 2015 Jeep jk sport unlimited and have had it since it was new. It's been lifted on 35's and a procomp lift for the last two years but a few months ago I had a craving to spend yet more money on it. I decided to buy the Traildash 2 from Superchips which, as some of you may know, needs an unlocked PCM for the tuning aspect to work. I've did the swap and the Jeep worked fine for about a month with no problems at all; the tuning worked great and I loved the improved mpg. However, one day I was at a red light when I noticed my A/c was no longer blowing cool air. I turned it off and a few minutes later the code P0480 popped up which is "Cooling fan circuit open". The Jeep proceeded to climb in temperature until I shut it off and couldn't figure out what was wrong so I had it towed to a dealer where they told me the fan went bad somehow and my tuner was to blame. Two days after I got the car back it worked fine until it did the same thing again; only this time I figured out if I took out the battery terminals out and held them together for about 30 seconds the fan would work again, for about three days. Superchips tells me they've never seen anything like it and still sent me a new pcm but still nothing. I have exhausted everyone in my contacts list that knows anything about cars, I've had the wiring harness tested, I've checked every single ground, fuse, and connection that I could find and yet this crap still happens. I am to the point where I just want to park it and forget about it because I can no longer drive anywhere without being paranoid and I can't go offroad anymore because what a nightmare that will be. Below I will provide everything that I have tried and maybe you guys could help me out. Thank you all for your help I really appreciate it.

Grounds, Fuses, Connections (with multimeter), Reseat of the pcm connections, switched back to factory settings, Harness test, fan tests, that's about it.

Thank you

^ Thinking the same thing. Completely get rid of the Traildash2 and start fresh. I had issues with my Traildash, and I can assure you that when Superchips tells you they've 'never seen the problem before', they are really telling you that you are on your own to figure out how to fix it.

That happen to me .when I install my flashpak superchip my fan start to run on very high speed with non stop. U can hear it and see how was blowing super fast. I contacted supershi’’”t they send me new pcm and now I keep my eyes close to it fan run on low speed every time. But I think the problem is from programming the pcm.

Had a similar problem. In my case the fan would not come on at all. First dealer said bad fan and replaced it. Happened again and a second dealer pointed to the Traildash. Uninstalled the TD and fan worked fine. So now I don't program anything either the TD. It's just an instrument cluster now. For programming I use the AEV procal. No issues.

I don’t know of the programming is different but I’ve been running a superchips flashpaq in my 2012 since about 2013 with no issues using several of the tunes. I’m not sure the programming is that different between the flashpaq and traildash

Is it that important to have the radiator fan coil? What is it going to hurt if the fan just stays on high? I waited 2 weeks to get that part and now they finally tell me it is back ordered. Isn’t there a way I can just bypass it?
