I have a 2020 Sahara Unlimited with the 4 cylinder turbo motor now approaching 50K miles. The only maintenance I have done is regularly rotating tires and oil changes. Currently runs great. Given money is tight, what maintenance would you recommend to save money in the longer run? I plan to keep the vehicle for the foreseeable future. I would spend well over $1000 if I followed Jeep's recommendation.
TIA!

Following the manufacturers maintenance schedule will "save money in the longer run". There are no shortcuts to proper maintenance IMO.

It is past time to replace the engine air filter. The maintenance schedule says to replace it every 30,000 miles. An air filter doesn't cost too much and is fairly easy to change.

We have the same model year and 2.0T engine. The spark plugs should be replaced at 60,000 miles. With a bit of help from Youtube, it is fairly easy to do.

I'm not sure where you come up with the $1,000 in recommended maintenance costs, especially if you DIY. I follow the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual and it hasn't cost me near that much to do the recommended maintenance over the past 4 years.

"I would spend well over $1000 if I followed Jeep's recommendation." Does Jeep mean dealer recommended maintenance? If yes then only approve what's in the maintenance schedule in the owners manual. The rest is is nothing more than the typical dealer revenue enhancement scams. Do you have written estimate of these recommendations, we can help you assess them.

Without looking at the OEM maintenance chart I would start to consider a brake fluid flush soon based on time. But ambient conditions could vary that ... Longer if drier climates, more imperative in wetter climates.

Also depending on use I would start to wonder about driveline fluids.

Lastly, at least inspect the brakes.
