I use the Sickspeed knobs which look similar to the link you posted. Been using the Sickspeed knobs for 4 years and love them.

I went with the Drake Billet Aluminum knobs and like them alot. I went with the sliver ones with black rubber 'tire' around the sides:

https://www.extremeterrain.com/drake-4wd-shifter-knob-jk-jp180011bk.html?utm_content=XT%20Interior%20-%20Trim%20and%20Dressup%7CDrake%20Off%20Road&utm_campaign=JK%20Years&utm_source=google-pla&utm_medium=shopping&T5_Var3=yellow&T5_Var4=J18373&intl=0

One very important thing to consider when shopping shift knobs (maybe even more important than looks) is material.

While I love the look & feel of the aluminum, it gets very hot with the top off in the sun and feels quite cold to the touch in winter. Thing I like about the Drakes is the tire track rubber handle around the outside gives me something to grip in extreme temperatures.

In hindsight a composite material shift knob (maybe even the rock knobs) would have been less susceptible to extreme temperature changes. These are a livable compromise though.

I agree, the PO had a metal cheapo parts store knob on when I got the jeep. Blistering hot in the summer sun, and ice cold all winter.
I run wood knobs now and don't have the temp issues anymore.

If you want "classic" go with an '8'Ball shifter... ;-)

Found the white JK series Sickspeed Ol' Skool shift & transfer case knob on EBay around $69 for the pair.

The Sickspeed knobs uses 3 screws to apply tension to the gear shifter. It has an adapter that fits in the knob so it doesn't wiggle and once the screws are set it is very secure. Ensure you get the knob designed for the JK series.

I have the black, matching Drake shifter and x-fer knobs and love them.

Sickspeed is the best. Nicely weighted, beautifully finished, and mine has lasted 3 years and still looks great! Attaches with a setscrew.

They look even better in a filthy cab...

I bought the Drake in black and it arrived today at lunchtime. Went out to remove the stocker that had been falling apart for a few months ---- chrome ring and the shift pattern thing had broken off.

Well, it wouldn't come off. I'm a big frickin dude too. It broke into 4 separate pieces in my hand before it gave up and came off with a pop.
Dang.

The Drake went right on. Wish it had a note saying "have your Torx driver handy" inside though. Had to really peek at that thing hard to figure out it wasn't a regular hex key.

It's nice. Good heft. And I'm dorky enough to like the tire thing.

For future reference, if you use a strap wrench, the OEM knobs pop off without much effort.
