Shopping for OEM replacement shocks on my 2015 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited and am met with a few options when researching a suitable replacement. I see options for heavy duty, normal duty, off road, etc all from Mopar.
Link to options for front shocks: https://www.quadratec.com/parts/jeep-wrangler-jk-front-suspension-parts
Link to options for rear shocks: https://www.quadratec.com/parts/jeep-wrangler-jk-rear-suspension-parts
-> even on Mopar's site there are a plethora of options, but no "normal duty": https://parts.moparonlineparts.com/...limited-sahara-trim/3-6l-v6-gas-engine/rear-suspension-cat/rear-suspension-scat
Is "Normal Duty" suitable for both 2 and 4 door models? Doesn't see right witht the difference in curb weight.
I hardly do any off roading and want the most comfortable street ride, which part number should i go with?
Or is there a better(& cheaper) alternative to OEM that will provide me with smoother street handling?
Thanks!
