I ordered this baby on 7 Mar 2017. I arrived this morning and I took delivery and came back to work. I can't believe how fast it was. I think I got lucky.

 

There are a ton of pics on another thread here for 2017 gobi sighting not sure if you knew that or not. Here is mine. I picked it up 2/28. Auto 410 gears. I traded in my 12 but before I did I stripped all my goodies off and put it onto this one. First pic is at dealer and 2nd pic last weekend at the beach!

Just picked up a 2017 Unlimited in Gobi last Thursday. Trying to get wheels/ tires/ lift all figured out on it now. So far I am really enjoying the color, almost went Rhino, but really glad I went with Gobi now.

 

Picking out wheels/tires and a lift is the fun part

My new 2017 Gobi JKUR is in transit to the dealer! Planning new bumpers and some minor tweaks this summer. Have a 2nd car to replace before I do to many major changes.

Anyone here order a Gobi JKU Sport 6-speed hardtop from Horne Dodge in AZ? They show one inbound, but the options just feel like a customer order, with plans to mod it. The dealer doesn't get many Wranglers (never understood why given the area, but they had plenty of Hellcats. go figure) but when they do, they tend to be Rubicons.
This one is a sport with 16" wheels, but has the oversize spare carrier and swing gate reinforcement. It doesn't have the power group (windows/locks etc) but has the connectivity group and Alpine w/subwoofer. Has the Trac-Lok diff, but 3.21 gears.
Just seem like an odd order for this dealer, but there sites never say if it's already sold (my Mojave Sand showed the same way). Looks like a decent builder for someone planning for bigger tires and a gear swap.

I finally made it home and picked up my Gobi JK!!!

 

Interesting color, looks almost sage when it's overcast. Beautiful in the sun, though not quite as yellow/warm as a dessert tan or mojave

 

Here's mine after lifting it. Overall very pleased.

 

Here's a picture with Mammoth Boulder wheels and 285/70R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers, soon I'll have pictures of it lifted and with my Hutchinson's on it.
