Simple, quick method for headlight adjustment?

So I did a teraflex 2.5 coil lift immediately after getting my jeep. I replaced stock headlights w KC reflector and H4 Philips xtreme bulbs....this may have been slightly better, but horrible artifacts and admittedly I only adjusted them down a tad after lift (nothing scientific😳).

Anyway, I just broke down and got JW Evolution Js. I don't have 25 feet of level ground in front of a wall readily available tonight. I do however have my wife's Lexus RX350. Would it be feasible to back this up say 10 feet, measure cutoff, then place jeep in the same spot and adjust to same cutoff level? Or will the height difference mess things up?

Wall measuring is not real world

Just go drive it on a dark night without street lights around. You will immediately see where your low beam is hitting on the road in front of you. You don't want your speed (50, 60 mph or whatever) to out-run your low beam distance. Hard to explain but you'll see what I mean if you use this method.

Using a torx driver on the small nut on the outer-most side of the headlight bezel, turn clockwise to raise the beam, and obviously counter-clockwise to lower. Drive and adjust until you're happy and people aren't flashing their high-beams at you.

Yeah that's not going to work to get a proper adjustment, two different types of projectors, cutoff not going to be the same. You can do it at 10 feet just subtract about 6" from the height. So measure to the center of the headlights and whatever that comes out to be place a piece of tape on a solid surface 6" less than that and adjust them. That should get it pretty close. If you have to fine tune it later you can.

*theorems

I've got the height pretty well adjusted on my JWS headlights, but the horizontal is pretty badly skewed - I picked up the adjuster bolt, but box contents were: 1 bolt, in plastic bag, and packing materials. Anyone have good instructions on where this bolt is supposed to go to adjust horizontal?

Thanks

Measure height to center of headlight ( or just pull up really close). Mark center line and back up with what you got (10 ft)
Adjust so cutoff of beam does not go over center line. Maybe slightly low if you don’t have much room but should be close and can tweak if needed.
Don’t go to high and fry everybody’s eyes.
