^^^Happy Wife, happy life...:D

Lol funny thing is I only saw the title at first and thought "oh no"
Keeper; that's what I was afraid of when I first contacted you. Riding into town with my horse and wagon selling snake oil out of the back just like the old westerns movies. But, it was just the opposite, the snake oil worked and everyone is feeling better.

Yes, it works.

Installed on Saturday - Jeep is stock suspension, all I have changed is to install Duratrac's (265 75/r16) on Mongoose wheels.

My wife thought the jeep felt squirrely - I called it twitchy - very hypersensitive to steering wheel input. My wife was actually finding reasons not to drive the jeep.

She took it for a test drive Sunday and noticed how much better it was. I drove to work today and noticed it got rid of most of the twitchy feeling. Still ultra-responsive (I normally drive a crew cab pickup with miles of wheelbase...) - just much more stable.

So yes it makes a positive, noticeable difference, even on stock suspension.

This ain't no snake oil........

Will you be giving Forum members a heads-up before the Attenuator returns to regular price?

That would be, like, awesome.

Cost still reduced

We have no immediate thoughts of changing the cost back to $199. But, YES.... I'll give plenty of notice before changing the cost. Thanks for asking.

Just order them for my Jk. Can you install these and install the Fox ATS stabilizer 2.0. Do they do the same thing for your ride?

You should be ok .. No but yes. Attenuator is not designed to act like a stabilizer. Although, All the reviews make it seem like it does.

Actually there is one or two people running the attenuator and Fox ATS.

I'm running both the ats and the attenuator. They do indeed do different things, both are fantastic.

Thanks for the info . Also read your reviews of both, I also have 2Dr. its seem they work better on the 2dr.
Tygerdan01;
The attenuator was designed for the two door but also improves the 4 door. The shorter the wheel base the better the attenuator improves the handling.

WOW, this Thread was almost DOA.......:(
Let's put some life back into it.....

The Attenuators are still on sale.....:happyyes:

Well, the weather and my schedule finally agreed today. I installed the Rancho 2" levelling kit with the 9000series shocks, and the attenuator today. Really, I should have done the lift first, taken it for a spin, then the attenuator after for a proper review. All I can say is wow, the jeep rides fantastic. I think the attenuator gives the steering a "smoother" feel with less kickback from the wheel. Koodos to the guy who recommended the masking tape/measuring technique. That really worked well. (Just watch where you place the tape, as the attenuator is a different length than the OE adjusting sleeve. I had to guess at the last 1/8". Turns out I was off by 1 revolution to centre the wheel)

Congrats .. Always good to hear :)

well gents... and ladies.:welcome: I just got back from taking a very long work infested vacation. I spoke with my boss and we made the decision to have me get some training in (since I was sitting at home). I asked him "that's in town right???":happyyes:, "Nope" he responded.:atomic: It was late in the week so I had to drive from Fort Collins,Colorado to Minot, North Dakota instead of flying in. Ugh. My 1st leg of my journey took me from home to my parents place in Rapid City, SD. It was pretty uneventful day and the roads were nice. :bop:

The next day I leave my parental unit's place for ND. It was an awful day of driving. It was windy windy windy... Did I mention windy?:pullinghair: I was on HWY 85 heading North getting close to Belfield, ND. I got nailed by a horrible wind gust while trying to negotiate a right hand corner with some whoopidoo's. My rig darted right, left, then right again due to this gust and my steering. :banghead: Thank goodness I stayed on the road (with no oncoming traffic at the time) and I maintained control but "definitely felt" something helping me with my steering inputs. Whew.:iamhappy: After some time I made it to my destination (stupid wind) and today I made it all the way back home to CO.:happyyes:

I put in close to a 1600 mile trip there and back. I'm am very happy with my "snake oil object":worthy: All the bumps, steering pops, and windy gusts were reduced IMO and my wrists and arms are thankful. Now if I could get my back and butt to agree to I'd be set?!?

Well I finally installed mine along with the lift kit and 35's. Love it!! You don't feel the kick or snap in the steering wheel with every irregularity in the road. No vagueness in the feel or response of inputs.
On installation I was able to just 'unscrew' the old connection and replace with the Attenuator. It was up on my hoist so maybe that helped.
