Traction control turning off by itself

Hi, every so often my traction control seems to shut off on its own on my 2018 JLUR. The "traction control off" indication light turns on both on the dash and the switch that you use to manually disable it. I think this may happen more frequently after being in mud, but not 100% sure. Any ideas or should I take in for warranty?

Thanks.

I have a JK that acts similarly in sand. Instead of calling it a "traction control off" indication light, call it a "traction control" indication light. In loose sand sometimes the light comes on and the motor seems to bog down (manual trans). I believe that it is telling me to turn off the traction control because it is overwhelmed and fighting the motor. Once the traction control is turned off, the jeep is happy. Your mudding might be doing the same.

Dr. Obbins, your post brings up a point that I have been wanting to ask here for a long time now, but never got around to before:
Just when, or under what circumstances, might we want to turn off the Traction Control?

I've never tried playing with turning it off yet, and have only a handful of times ever seen it even momentarily activate (via the dash display), but I gather that there are particular situations where it would be beneficial to deactivate it ---- maybe when trying to free your Jeep from mud or snow, for example. But I've very vague on that feature in general, never having had it on a vehicle of my own before.
