The most fool-proof way would probably be to contact the company above, and have them confirm whether the '08 Wrangler uses a Can-B or Can-C databus. These OEM navigation units use the databus to communicate with the Jeep's TIPM aka Totally Integrated Power Module. I know they will sell you a unit that is compatible (and back that up, make it right should it not be).

^^ this thread here on the forum suggests it is Can-C (high speed canbus)
If you want to source a used 730N on your own, keep in mind these radios were originally sold in both Can-B and Can-C versions, depending on which vehicle it was originally destined for, and most times the seller may not know the difference. There are also differences in backlighting color and the programmed home screens (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep) with these radios. If you buy a refurbished unit from a vendor, these should be programmed correctly compared to buying used, but then again backlighting color and home screen may not matter much to you.
My last two JKs came with navigation from the factory, and I only came to learn the differences when shopping for a 730N unit to retrofit in my Dad's '08 Grand Cherokee (which uses Can-B aka low speed canbus). I abandoned the mission when he didn't like the price of a correct unit being sold used for a good price. He was hoping to inherit the 430N from my '16, but IIRC it uses high speed databus, and I am not ready to upgrade my radio.
