@Buildit has used a couple now. I'm sure he will give you some advice. I'm about to install that very lift with some Teraflex Falcon 3.3s. I chose those based on reviews from a fair number of guys on here and after riding in two Jeeps (one with Falcons and one with Fox shocks). The falcons felt better. I like the ability to dial them in and have a setting tuned to my Jeep and my situation. That will change as a winch goes on front and a bumper tire carrier goes on the rear.

I love that they are made in Merica and they guys are just down the road from me a couple hours.

I've heard the rock sports and the six packs (way too bulky for my tastes) are great. Good luck![emoji256]

I was in the same quandary as you, although I was only down to the fox and the rocksports. I just pulled the trigger on the rocksports version. I figured worst case scenario is that I got shocks at least while I find other shocks that will fit the bill.

Hope the decision goes well.

I helped install a MC 3.5" lift along with the 6 pack shocks a couple of months ago on a friends Jeep. I was really impressed with the way the jeep handled on the road. I agree that the 6 pack are bulky but they complemented the MC suspension very well.

Oh I'm sure they work great. They had better at least since they are specifically designed by MC and sold as their own. Good to hear first hand that they are all they are cracked up to be. Black and red go nicely with some of the hard rock/recon editions too.

I am running the rocksports for the price you cannot go wrong. It rides as good as stock with it running 35's. If the 6 packs where cheaper I would go that route, but cannot justify the cost for only weekend warrior. The 6 packs will get you the most articulation if you are running their fenders. You can always buy fox or rocksports and move up to the six packs down the road.

Actually if I am not mistaken MC does not feel you need to run the high steer kit on there 3.5 inch lift otherwise I think they would offer of the kit like they do for there 4.5 and 5.5 inch kits. Of course the amount of bump stop you actually need really is not known until you cycle the suspension. I am pretty sure I don't all of my 3 inches of stop with my stock fenders but 2 inches is probably not enough. Oh well flats will get put on there someday.

I started out with running the RockSports with my MC 3.5" GC. They are a great all around shock, that provide terrific travel. That travel is perfectly suited to the MC lifts. MC tuned these to work perfectly with their springs.

I'm now running the Falcon 3.3's, and they are like nothing else. To be able to fine tune the ride is fantastic, and takes the suspension to another level.

I voted Falcons, but you won't be let down if you go RockSport and save the money for other mods.

6Pak, is there any other choice.

The 4-6" Falcons are too long for a 3.5" GC. I was one of the early buyers and tried these on my rig. They simply have too much down travel, and then limit compression. The 2.5-3.5" length Falcon is perfect for the 3.5" GC spring. The compressed length is very close to the RockSport(one of it's advantages), but the 2.5-3.5" Falcon will provide about an inch more droop. I've been through this firsthand.

i have the MC 2.5 GameChanger ARB edition mono-tube shocks, I put a 1" spacer in the front to level it off some, I have noticed that i do get a fair amount of body roll. when turning. I should note that i am still on stock tires. (i dont know if thats a factor or if its just the nature of the beast when lifing)

I bought a kit with shocks with it just to run for the interim but i plan on throwing in a set of ARB BP-51

I love the dual adjustability of the BP-51's, but their compressed and extended lengths are not a great match for a high articulation jeep.

The fronts are 16.9 and 26.5 which is about 1.5" less travel than the other shocks being considered in this thread.

reviving this thread for my benefit :)

i have the 3.5 gc with the ARB/OME shocks. i find this setup handles great as a dd and does well on the rocks. what i don't like is that hitting potholes/uneven pavement at speed is more jarring than i expected. i would also like to carry more speed on the fire roads and 'between' rock trails. could someone point out the characteristics of each of the shocks in the poll? i love the idea of the OME adjustables, but at $2k, i might as invest in coilovers. on that note, has anyone matched coilovers with the mc arms?

Coilovers have been done many time with MC arms. I can't provide any detail but as I have said it has been done.

Concerning your issue with pot holes what air pressure are you running in your tires? I find almost no harshness with the MC setup as compared to stock for instance. Also when you say you want to carry more speed on fire roads, explain just how much speed we are talking about. I have no issue running 50-60 mph down them.

I run Falcon 3.3s and they work great. When I run off road I adjust to the softer setting. At times I run it a little firmer up front and stiffer in the back depending on the scenario. They are $$ but they do a fantastic job of handling the bumps. Usually run right at 28lbs on road and 12-14 off.

I run the falcon 3.2 adjustables on my 4.5" MC coils and pretty happy with them. Like Buildit says adjust the ride to whatever you want.
