Yeah. Apparently it's common. You will get a drip when it turns cold. It's the gasket which mates the pump with the tank. There is a fix for it somewhere. Do a google on it.

i replaced the pump at a cost of about $40.00 and my time. It does not leak anymore.

 

Washer Pump Grommet

I bought a new washer grommet with strainer that fits on the pump. It was less than $10. When I put the pump back in it was a noticeably tighter fit when pushing down on the top of the pump into the holding bracket. The gasket is a little thicker than the original. We'll see what happens, but I'm confident that this is the fix. The part I used was the "Washer Pump Grommet", Dorman part number 49459.
