Purchased today, 5/14/2018! Firecracker Red with cloth seats (I preferred cloth seats); cold weather group; LED lighting group; Electronic Infotainment group (NAV & Alpine system, etc), steel bumper group, remote start plus much more.

First mods will include removing the bumper end caps, installing Spidertrax wheel spacers, rock sliders (not sure what brand yet), 35 or 37 inch tires?? and the 2 inch Mopar lift.

Installed Mopar door sill guards today. They don’t provide much coverage though. A little disappointed. Oh well.

Hey just seeing your message now. Awesome man, it looks great! Typically I'd get those Mopar door sill guards. I have on all my other Jeeps because they cover the lip that everyone hits their heel off when getting out. For some reason, they don't cover the lip on the JL. So I opted out and wrapped my sills instead. I also had water leak problems with the door sills on my JK's. There used to be a notch that would cause problems. I think it's fixed on the JL tho! Again, Jeeps looks badass!

Thanks! What did you wrap your door sills with? I was thinking I'd do the same.

35s have been ordered! 315/70/R17 Cooper Discoverer STT Pros! As long as they're in by Friday, they will be installed Saturday morning along with my Spidertrax wheel spacers. Can't wait! I will post pics.

FYI, still haven't decided on a lift yet.

Added a couple more “mods” today, an AntennaX antenna and my club’s sticker. Gotta represent!

I installed Mopar wheel locks last night.............not posting pics though because it's nothing exciting, LOL! I was supposed to go wheeling today but I'm not feeling so well so I didn't go. :(

Guess I'll start installing my CB if it doesn't rain. Monday I'm ordering my lift. I'm going to order the 2 inch Mopar lift. I like that is nets over 3 inches when installed and supposedly the lift will include redesigned front spring perches so the springs won't bow out. And those Fox Shocks are HUGE! They're awesome to see in person. When I'm ready to install 37s, I'll replace the springs with 3.5 inch Metal Cloak dual rate springs. In my opinion, the lift with 37s doesn't have enough fendergap. People are rubbing a lot with 2/2.5 inch lifts and 37s.

I've ordered a few mods for my rig that will be delivered this week:

7 inch LED spot lights for my bumper that I will connect to one of the AUX connectors
2 Inch MOPAR lift

I will be installing these (with some other Nova Jeepers) in the next few weeks, along with my CB. I'll post pics as soon as they're installed! Can't wait!

I'll probably be ordering my LoD Sliders this week. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE!

Yeah they're awesome. I'm going to put a light stain on it and maybe make a coffee table out of it for the "man cave". Definitely gonna do something with it.

:awesome:

2 inch Mopar lift installed! Very happy with the results. If you haven't seen these Fox shocks in person, you need to. They're huge compared to the OEM shocks and my buddy's Fox shocks on his JK.

First pic is a "before" pic, before we started today.

I installed the Maximus-3 Stealth License Plate Bracket. I really hate having a front license plate on my rig but with this bracket I don’t mind! Took 5 minutes to install.

Where I live, we don't have to have front plates, so I'm not sure about all the rules, but would that plate be considered legal? For example, on a sports bike like an R6, if I have a fender eliminator kit and have my plate tucked like that above my back tired, I'd get a ticket and have to relocate my plate. I'm curious how strict they are on front plates like that?

Thanks! I hope to have the lights installed this weekend. I need to finish up my CB install as well.

I really hoped to buy the Rock Hard 4x4 skids, I just don't have $1200 to spend on them right now. Since I needed to get some protection for the oil/trans I went with the MORE skid. Now at least I won't have to worry about that when off-roading.

More builds great products and what your doing is great. I pieced together and made some of my own skids on our 2015JK . The reason we went with the pan system is not only to protect most everything but to make it slide a bit better over high centers and rocks in general. I had always intended to fab some myself, but its funny how work and family events get in the way of quality build time. Your right about the price though, we cringed a bit when we hit "order". Most folks do not need that type of full underside plating, its heavy and it adds work to DIY maintenance. We wheel alone allot, and need to protect as much as possible. Overkill for most folks actual needs. We ran very tough trails with our 2015 with minimal armor (just on critical points) and it fended well on trails. It took a highway crash to take it out.....sad.

I will say it kept my wife from injury, it was a bad accident T boned by an older SUV type vehicle then flipped over onto passenger side and slide about 40 ft.

That probably had psychological influence on our armor decision. The RH kit has 2 additional solid bar crossmembers which are intended to stiffen the frame on the JLs. Frame twist was one of the issues that made our 2015 a total loss.

Damn, that accident must have been scary............glad you guys made it out without injury! At some point I'll upgrade to the RH skids. Those crossmembers are legit! I had them on my 2015 JK as well. If MORE offers other skids in the future maybe I'll just stay with theirs? The oil/trans skid is very well made. Who knows, haha.
