Hello all! I traded my '05 LJ for a different '05 LJ, the latter being already equipped with a lift from Full Traction Suspension. Is there a way to tell if it was a 3" or a 4"? The dealer said 3", but it feels taller, and if I could get 33" tires on it, I would. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!

P.S. She is sporting 31x10.5R15's now....

FT's 4" kits come with a drop pitman, a drop trackbar bracket with cross brace stiffener. It also includes control arms.

The 3" kit does not have those items.

Thanks! It must be a 3" then, because the factory control arms are still there. It threw me off that they put vertical spacers in to drop the transfer case skid plate.... I didn't think that would be necessary with just a 3" lift.

I have 31's on it now, and love them. I have thought about going bigger, but if I do it will be AFTER these die! Right now, with the 3.73 gears, I wouldn't go any bigger, lest she feel bogged down. When these tires are gone, maybe I will re-gear to 4:10 and go with 33's......

Yeah from the looks of it, the gap looks good with 31's size doesn't look bad... every guy loves a good gap lol

They sag in the rear pretty bad. Most of my friends and a lot of people here have had that issue.

X2. My front Full Traction coils sagged nearly 2".

RE springs seem to be one of the better springs out there. I know someone will have something to say about that.

I like my RE lift and springs you might look into RE springs for your full traction lift. I am sure they would work just fine together. RE = rubicon express just so you know.

After much deliberation, I decided to go with the Rough Country 4" lift kit. New N2.0 shocks, new lower control arms, a new track bar, and progressive rate coils. All in all, I couldn't be happier! Quality parts with a lifetime warranty... Outstanding value for my Daily Driver!
