I talked to a local shop about installing my gussetts and doing the ball joints. They recommended doing an alignment check first to see if the jeep would need adjustable ball joints to fix any caster issues. Are these possible? Are they as strong as synergy s.? Also while it's apart they recommended sleeving the axle. Should I sleeve or truss it. It is a Dana 30.

A "Off set" upper ball joint is commonly used to fix camber issues. I know of one person who used lowers to add some caster lifted 4" +

Have the alignment checked and go from there.
As far as a truss or sleeve .. Your choice. I would gusset. if anything were to bend/break... Upgrade, it's not really worth putting money into a 30 Imo.

One thing to consider is that some adjustable ball joints are just cam bolts under the covers. They work until they become loose and then they magnify the subsequent problems. An off road suspension is not an ideal place for cam bolts.

As far as I know he's still running them. I did send him a PM Sometime last year, all was good.
Compared to the factory joints, the uppers are greasable which I'm sure helps.
Looks like he went with RayBestos brand upper and lower... Not MOOG.

I think it's time for a update, I'm going to shoot him a message.
