Took these over the weekend at Lake Okeechobee access area. Thought it made a good backdrop.

Just finished my build.
It's never finished lol I mean it looks good but I guarantee you in a few years you're going to want better fenders like metal cloak or poison spyder and better bumpers cuz the smittybilt stuff won't cut it for very long

Also you have an X that means Dana 35 rear end unless you swapped it. That's another thing to the list that will go out eventually

Kind of stating the obvious. Things wear out and always need to be replaced.

And the Smittybilt stuff is fine for me personally... sure beats the rusty old bumpers I had before and didn't have the cash to drop on the more expensive bumpers.. I've already been in one accident and the front bumper literally saved my Jeep. It barely even scratched and did around $6k damage to the other car. It's very solid. I think when people state opinions on these forums on brands of parts etc, a lot of it has to do with what they think is good for them personally. Everyone has different needs for their own build. Also, not a huge fan of metal cloak fenders for my Jeep but won't bash anyone else who has them, so I think my Bushwackers will do just fine. The looks of metal cloak are not my taste. I do agree that it's never "finished" though as things always wear out.

I agree on the metal cloaks, I am going with jcr myself, but if you want to keep those fenders I would recommend the Highlines mod, since the factory fenders limit your up travel quite a bit. And good thing it held up their stinger is probably the best bumper they have but the tire carrier has the worst reputation. Have yet to see one that wasn't modified and didn't have crazy rattle, they were more than a year old but still shouldn't rattle after only a year. And if you're running 33s I would look into an axle swap, I am in the same boat with the Dana 35 rear end, I want 35s but I need to either upgrade the garbage axle or get a newly made one. But for your situation it's all in how you off-road and what you have access to
