Can't get the relay to stop chattering.

Trying to get a set of driving lights to be triggered on the high beam circuit. So I had a Truck-lite anti flicker module attached to the H13 and the output to a cheap Chinese headlight booster to run the headlights. I tapped the high beam line where the H4 plug attached to the Truck Lite adapter and the driving light relay would buzz a bit when powered up but then all would be fine. So I replaced the headlight booster with a Rally Lights harness:

I then hooked the drivers side HL socket to the relay using an H13 pigtail. I connected the high beam line to the relay and once the ignition was on it turned the driving lights on but the relay buzzed because of the modulated voltage off the headlight circuit. So I added the Truck-Lite adapter, added an extra female H4 plug and connected it to the high beam line and ran that to the relay and it still buzzed. Should I have attached the ground wire of the Truck-Lite module to the chassis? The relay is grounded to the chassis. Also what engineer thought PWM was a good idea?? Probably the same guy that thought running the radio fader circuit through the Can-Bus instead of from the radio was a good idea as well.....

get a Jscan or Appcar DiagFCA app and increase the front lamps voltage to 13.4 V. That will cause the PWM run 100% duty cycle, elliminate the LED headlamp flickering also without an anti flicker module and prevent the relay from buzzing.

I just joined the forum to reply to this thread. I found it via Google search for "JK clicking relay headlight harness"

I just wanted to thank terpsmandan (iseewutyoudidthereDan) for the info about Jscan settings. I changed all four of my headlight settings to 13.2v at first and nothing changed. I then changed them all to 13.6v and the relay clicking stopped. Not sure if this is a healthy thing to do to my 2008 Jeep but I'm gonna run with it and see. She's got full coverage so... I'll just be sure to park it away from all flammable objects I care about.
