thx. glad the designers of the transmission had the presence of mind to put two plugs right next to each other; makes things super intuitive.

 

Always make sure you can get the fill plug out first. Don't want to drain it and then find out you can't fill it.

 

That's an allen... not a torx

 

it is. gonna have to be hand tightened because i'm not in the mood to purchase a hex socket set just to torque this one fastener.

 

The fill plug takes a 24mm wrench/socket or 15/16".

 

I am missing that allen bolt somehow. Anyone know what it is and size so I can get a new one?

Here's a couple, dont know what the thread pitch is, But you could take the other one out to compare. I think they are the same.

Thanks! Sorry new to replying in forums. Was looking forever for that dang bolt. Ill check that out and if no luck ill go to a junkyard and hopefully find an AX5

 

From the looks the first one you sent looks correct. Just ordered, will post back with an update

 

I think they are interchangeable with the ax-15. But without an ax5 laying around I can't check.
