creaking noise when turning

The Jeep has developed an odd creaking noise when turning left. It seems to be coming from the rear left side. I'm thinking maybe bushings or a bad shock. Any ideas? Any recommendations of shops to take it to to have it looked at. Not much of a mechanic. It's an 06 TJ with a rough country 3.5" lift and bilstein shocks. Thanks in advance for the help

Is it when moving or stopped? Are your steering joints and ball joints greased? If its the rubicon express lift like I have, make sure you keep those flex joints greased. I grease mine regularly and two have already locked up inside. I am slowly replacing my control arms with savvy/Currie arms.

I had an annoying creaking sound whenever I turned left or right at low speeds that ended up being my transfer case skid plate moving and rubbing against the frame. I put one washer on each bolt to space the skid just a little away from the frame and the problem stopped.

Its a Rubicon express rear track bar, correct? If so, its not supposed to be greaseable. Its possible one of the joints is worn out and is making the noise now. If someone rocks the jeep, can you see any movement in the joints on the track bar? If so, it sounds like a new track bar is in order or at least new joints. If you don't see any play you could try spraying some lithium grease meant for rubber on the bushings on there. You should be able to find a spray can of it at your local auto parts store.
