Does anyone else get high beamed regularly?

I work graveyard shift and on my way home its still dark. I get high beams flickered at me between 1 and 4 times a week. My Jeep isn't that tall and I have shitty, dim stock heaflights and fog lights. Is there something I'm missing here?

It is not normal and not ok. It's because your headlights are improperly aimed. I don't have time at the moment to describe the process. Google headlight aiming and the manual will show you where the adjustment screw is.

I've been getting it a lot lately. Driving an '09 Avalanche, headlights are a lot cleaner/brighter than my previous vehicles... even properly aimed the truck just sits higher than all the little cars that keep flashing me... I've been in their position, my last daily driver was an '03 alero, sat on the ground level so a truck sitting up a little higher with bright headlights = can't see very well even without brights on...

I let 'em have the real brights when they flash me (although not recommended, apparently Michigan has some law in place about it... )

Have you lifted, added a heavy rear bumper or adjusted the headlights recently? Your that a-hole blinding everyone else. I had the same problem after I lifted my Jeep. It didn't even cross my mind after doing the lift, but after a few nights of constantly getting flashed it dawned on me. Adjusted them down and no more flashes.

I'm actually running no rear bumper at the moment. I recently added a 20lb co2 tank in the back and a spare (was running no spare before). The spare adds so much weight compared to no spare, I can feel it when driving. Now the flashing high beams starts... Coincidence??? Hmmm...

Anyways, definitely will look at adjusting the headlights. I don't want to be that a**hole lol.

Once I go to the trouble of figuring out the correct aiming points for a vehicle, I mark them on the inside of the garage doors. (Also for fogs). Haven't had any particular problems with the Jeep, but the Beemer is always getting out of adjustment. Almost every little job seems to involve removing the headlight assemblies.

No, it's because your lights are improperly aimed as described in every other post in this thread. You should fix it before you cause an accident.
