DV8 After Market Front Skid Plate

I guess this would be the place to post this question - I have a 2014 JKU that I just put a new DV8 stubby bumper on. This required the removal of the air dam underneath the car and now my fog light harness and sway bar links are exposed. I searched everywhere and it turns out DV8 only makes a front skid plate for the JL not the JK... Does anyone have any recommendations for generic front skid plates (I tried the rough country one for the plastic bumper but it needs to mount in the front by drilling into the old plastic, not happening with the DV8 one)

What do you want one for? The stock air dams are not for protection and generally end up getting ripped off when wheeling. The reason for the air dam is for aerodynamics and slightly better mpg. Any change to the front end: bumpers, adding a winch, any lift or larger tires, and say goodby to aerodynamics. Look at the number of modified JKs. Now you have already researched and found out that there are not many, if any, options to replace the air dam. Reason is that the JK crowd doesn't think one is needed. If one was needed, there would be at least 5-10 companies making them.

I mainly want one to clean up the front end, just put in an entirely new Yeti Steer Smarts Steering suspension and new bumpers and noticed all of the wires/slightly busted crash bars and figured the skid plate would serve that purpose while also offering some armor without really taking away from approach, but as time goes on I am getting used to the open end

Has anyone had any experience with the hooke road skid plate?
It looks like it uses the bumper mounting holes as opposed to drilling into the bumper but there are several complaints that it does not fit aftermarket bumpers whch I can't seem to wrap my head around
