Well im in your neighboring city of kenosha I'm curious, do you know of any trails around these parts? Iv been itching to do some stuff but i cant seem to find anything reasonably close.

Nothing in this area that I know of But I did hear that Ill may have.
But I do know that a Magazine called Crawl that I just discovered that they wrote an article about clubs you can join The Northern Minnesota Jeepers they are setting up trails expansion 2700 acre. That and maybe contact the DNR about trails local.

 

Well I guess word is getting out I just got this by email and check it out on FB they also have 4x4 Damage inc. their from Milwaukee club check it out

The Wisconsin Off-Highway Vehicle Association (WOHVA) has access to the Mole Lake Indian Reservation outside Crandon, Wisconsin. Over the past 5 years we have developed a network of trails ranging from mild Jeep Trails to wild full size truck trails.

We host two trail riding events per year (Northwoods-Mole Lake Jeep Jamboree USA & Great Northern Trail Ride). On weekends throughout the summer, WOHVA hold trail days. In 2012 we have 11 such dates scheduled. Trail days allow WOHVA members to access these trails without being associated with a formal event.

ugh kenosha sucks. Nothing to do here. Incase you are bored though, theres some mud to be found on terrabassi off of 30th street between 80th av and 85th. av Its a right turn onto a dirt road. Not much, but enough to bathe the jeep in.

Nice have you done anything yet ? I live in Salem and also just got a 2012 sport base model and plan to build it up too !!!

 

No not yet but , I did get a set of 17'' wheels and about to get some tires. Getting real tired of looking at thos wonderfull 16's

 

Regarding the seat covers, roll with CoverKing. They're not super cheap, but they are nice. Although I will say that I wish they fit a little tighter.

 

Thanks for imput on seat covers.Are the neoprene covers a good choice?

 

I have the Rugged Ridge ones and they have lasted almost 2 yrs. They are neoprene. Bad side is you sweat in them, they sun fade BAD, not easy to get on and did I mention that they fade?! The seams are also coming apart on the butt side where you slide in and out.

I am saving my $ for Trek Armor. I hear they are pretty great. All I can say is do your research and ask around. Forums give you advice, but it might not be the advice you want. I have bought stuff for my jeep that I wish I hadn't. Good luck

Sadly, there just aint much around these parts. Iv taken to riding the motorcycle more just cuz I can do that whenever, still go muddin in the jeep occasionally.

Hey. Have an 05 se. 31x10.5 tires looking for a place to dirty the old girl up at. Live right on the Kenosha/Racine border right by the lake. Any ideas? Or just hooking up with some other Jeepers in the area is cool.

 

To people new to forums/these forums: I've noticed that a lot of really old posts are being brought back (notice this one was stared in 2011) this may not be a big deal on these forums, but why not just start your own posts? some of these people may not even be paying attention to the forums anymore
