Thanks, Old Dogger. I have a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. How many days can I leave the battery at <1% and drive using E-save before I must recharge?

I recently took our 2023 Wrangler Sahara 4XE on a cross country trip.

It left with a full battery, which went to less than 1% before we left Michigan.

I drove it on hybrid mode for most of the trip to Florida and then left it for 7 days at less than 1%.

Remember, less than 1% doesn't actually mean that, nor will the Jeep allow the battery to get critically low.

Also, in the hybrid pages on your Uconnect system, there is a setting to prefer battery charging in E-save over conserving battery.

I set the Jeep to that and did that driving for part of the trip so I had a full battery to traverse Atlanta and it took about 300 miles of highway driving to add 21 miles of all electric driving back to the Jeep.

It won't hurt the Jeep to drive it like this or to leave it parked like that.

Mine is back in normal to and from work service and plugged in every afternoon with 25 miles of charge available each morning.

Thanks for the information.

I thought you could drive the 4xe without charging it? And just using it as a hybrid like the non-plug in Priuses?
