Improved Alternator with JL Tow Package worth it?

My use case:
When I test drove a stock JL Sport, I felt like electrical power struggled a tad for instance when running HVAC during acceleration, etc. Also, in future, I may need to hook up some external lights or portable appliance here and there, although in most cases I'd use a portable battery for that (e.g. Jackery 1k).

The question:
The tow package comes with 240-Amp Alternator, 700-Amp Battery, and aux switches. I doubt I'll tow much, if anything (and the rating is relatively low anyway), but the package could be a good deal regardless at $845. Is it worth it?

Any thoughts? I don't have a ton of experience with this so take it easy on me!

EDIT: Added price of the tow package.

I have the tow package and I don't feel any lag with the A/C running.
